I’m still playing with the idea of doing some kind of color. Tell me what you think!
Well that’s the end of Chapter 1, finally. Took me long enough, right?
So I’ll fully admit that I’m still overbooking myself. I’ve been doing this for a long time – committing to things as if I didn’t have to go to work on weekdays or anything like that. I’ve got SO MUCH I want to do, but realistically, not a lot of time to do it in.
While I enjoy doing my comics, I still also need to do other things to keep me marginally sane – Gaming is a big part of that, socializing, etc.
Anyway, I’m sure you’re not interested in my whining about time, you just want to know when the next update is gonna happen, right?
So here it is: I’ve got to make a small book and some other minor art before I can really get back to doing zombots with a regular schedule. But fret not – in the mean time, I’m going to be adding art, sketches and other stuff between now and then. I’m also going to use this time to set a firm update schedule. I know I’ve been aiming at Thursdays, and while it’s convenient, I don’t think it really helps my readership.
So – my new goal is Monday/Tuesday updates. This gives me the rest of the week and weekend to finish a page and a chance to upload other incidental art.
So don’t give up, there’s more stuff coming. If all goes well, I’ll have a mini-comic that helps explain the origin of the Zombots and other happy cool stuff.

This weekend I’ll be heading up towards KintokiCon in Sacramento. I’ll only be visiting on Saturday, but I’ll be bringing sketch cards for anyone who’s interested and will draw Zombots and HHFM characters on demand 
Jeremy Rathbone’s Release the Zombots! project is almost complete and he has scheduled his release party for July 9th! Anyone can show up (again in Sacramento); there is a Facebook open invitation up. I’m one of the featured artists and you’ll be able to buy a Zombots sketchbook from me and get a free original sketch along with it!

Sorry the comic isn’t finished, folks. I’ve been finishing up the final edit on the KatGirl’s book, Daemons in the Mist, before it’s sent to press. I figured I’d give you what I have instead of holding off. I’ll finish up as soon as I can, I promise.

I’ll tell you what, this page kicked my ass around the block a couple times trying to get it done. That said, I really enjoyed drawing it – despite the fact the poor guy just doesn’t end well.
You have to wonder what Alex is thinking.

Ok, So I’m sorry that I’m posting Illustration Friday instead of Page 21 – It’s been a crazy busy week…
So I finished up my first sketchbook for Zombots. I’ll be offering it up for $5 at our table at Fanime, along with all the rest of the stuff we normally do! If you’re in the area, pop on over and check it out!
