One thing I've discovered recently, is that I really don't feel terribly comfortable writing newsposts days in advance. Don't get me wrong: I could do it, I just don't like to do it. It actually makes me feel rather disconnected from the comic and all of you… and that's not something I really enjoy.
I think enough of my work is produced in a vacuum already: working so far ahead, I have to bump the schedule if I want to post anything relevant or current… which of course means I have to generally stay away from politics, popular movies, or just make the jokes so general that they really don't touch on what's current. Which is, as I'm sure you can imagine, frustrating.
Anyway, I hope you all are enjoying the new character. Elise shows up periodically, depending on the comic.
It's Monday today, so that means you get a new PDQ, as long as you remember to VOTE VOTE VOTE! TWC is something that I hope will generate new readers, more readers mean I will dedicate more time to doing comics, so by voting, you're telling me you want more HHFM.
Final note before I go:
August is going to have something special for you all to enjoy… Thought I'd let out a bit of a teaser… be ready for it.

Hey folks! It's a new month for HHFM, and we're starting our FOURTH MONTH! Amazing how time flies. As promised, there are a couple of photos from my adventures at the Renaissance faire at the bottom of this post. I hope you enjoy them.

A fan asked why the numbers fluctuate so much at the beginning of the month, and I'll tell you now:
It's cause you rock.
No, really.
TWC has some funky calculation system where it counts how many total votes a comic has had in combination with how many it's gotten that month. We're able to maintain a number around 200 deep into the month because we have people voting for us all month long, however, when the month starts over again, the calculation only has a few monthly clicks to go on, so HHFM's rank jumps all the way down to.. well, right now it's in the 600's.

Whew! What a weekend. I'm tired, sore, exhausted, in pain, sleepy, sunburnt, wiped out…
You get the idea.
I need to upload the pics I took, I should have some for you by wednesday. I'll be giving a more complete update later.
